The New Operational Database: Scale-out Transactions & Real-time Analytics

Cloud, Big Data and analytics are driving the need for a new database - one that scales out both transactions and real-time analytics, and is architected to run on cloud-friendly commodity and/or virtual infrastructure.

Come talk with Sergei Tsarev, CTO and Founder of Clustrix, about the reinvention of the relational database. Clustrix is the first and only row-based SQL database to bring massively parallel processing (MPP) to both transactions and real-time analytics. Clustrix 5.0 allows you to easily scale-out a database that can support massive transaction volumes and use true, real-time analytics to drive real-time business decisions.

Joining Sergei will be Dmitri Mikhailov, Principal Database Architect at TheLadders, the premier online job-matching service. Dmitri and his team have implemented the Clustrix scale-out SQL database at TheLadders; he will speak about their experience and results with Clustrix.

As part of this session, Sergei will also show you how you to set up your own scale-out SQL database on AWS. In addition to AWS Marketplace, Clustrix is available on-demand at Rackspace, GoGrid, Equinix and BlueBoxGroup as well as a database appliance.
